Executive Director/joint CEO

Salary: circa £40-45k subject to experience
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Terms: Full time post

After 25 years under the leadership of founding director Barrie Rutter and the administrative, operational and financial stewardship of executive director Sue Andrews, Northern Broadsides is recruiting an executive director as part of a new executive team to take the Company forward.

Together with the Artistic Director, The Executive Director is expected to continue to deliver the company’s core vision of creating exciting Theatre that puts the Northern voice at centre stage.

This is a hands on role and not a job for someone expecting to delegate the detail – the company has a core permanent staff of 4 housed in our Halifax offices – and being responsible for something usually means doing it yourself! No one will do your filing or keep your diary and everyone answers the phone!

But leading that small team in continuing to punch well above its administrative weight, while being challenging, is also extremely rewarding.

To apply: We are no longer accepting applications.

Northern Broadsides recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination and we welcome and encourage job applications from people of all backgrounds.
