Fundraiser and Development Officer –  NOW CLOSED

Northern Broadsides are looking for an energetic Fundraiser and Development Officer to explore funding streams and private philanthropy in support of our widening programme of work both on tour and in our locale. Public and private funding will provide the financial foundation to promote the pedigree of the past and bring the future creative energies of Northern Broadsides to a new audience and a new era of British theatre makers.

Job title: Fundraiser and Development Officer

This is a part time, permanent post.

Salary: c£26,000 pro rata

Annual Leave: 20 days holiday per year in addition to bank holidays pro rata

Pension: Northern Broadsides operates an auto enrolment pension scheme (NEST).

Hours of Work:  20 Hours per week.

Place of Work: Flexible between working from home and the company office at Dean Clough, Halifax, West Yorkshire.  Freelance applications considered.

In 2018 we are looking for an energetic Marketing and Communications Officer to promote the pedigree of the past with the creative energies of the future and introduce a new generation of Broadsides to a new audience and a new era of British theatre makers.

Our repertoire combines Shakespeare, European and English Classic plays and new writing. Productions are noted for their distinctive northern voice, strong musicality and clear narrative journey.  Northern Broadsides’ unique theatrical voice is inventive, invigorating, and accessible to all.
