Northern Broadsides have had 6 places become available for our creative writing residency in Hebden Bridge as part of our Life in a Northern Town playwriting programme. We are making these places available to young people living in Calderdale aged 14 – 17.

The residency is completely free. Places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

This will be an opportunity to work with Maria Ferguson, a leading playwright and Northern Broadsides’ Artistic Director,  Laurie Sansom. You will develop your writing in creative workshops and share your work with other young writers.

The residency will bring together participants of the programme from Northern Broadsides and Barnsley Civic.
All participants are under 18.
